The Customer, a total IT solution provider company.
The Challenge
The previous system in government officers has been operated more than 20 years and need to be upgraded. With high cost for upgrade, the government office decided to conduct contract with the Customer to provide better infrastructure and develop Public Debt Management (PDM) system.
Solution
With financial and tailor-made expertise, MERCIL collaborate with the Customer which provide infrastructure, we migrated data and developed new PDM that support contract management in Thailand context such as bond switching, contract posting and support to interface with regulator.
Result
At the project closing stage, the new system was able to process more contract with more duration, resulting faster than the outdated solution. In additional, MERCIL offers monitoring dashboard for government office to validate contract data change, account posting period to make sure that their use case are run smoothly.
